What We Do
This Committee is responsible for reviewing and making recommendations to the Family Law Council on proposed amendments, changes or additions to the Michigan Court Rules and Michigan Rules of Professional Ethics that affect the practice of family law in Michigan.

The first step is to be a Family Law Section Member (you are not required to be a council member), then contact either person above. We believe more great minds is best
When & How We Meet
Via Zoom or teleconference the Tuesday before the monthly Family Law Council meeting at 1:00PM. Contact Peter above for Zoom/teleconference invite and information.
News from Our Committee
We will be working hard over the next couple of months to ensure that able candidates who have family law experience to apply to be members of the Michigan Judicial Council (new court rule MCR 8.128). Please contact Jenny above for links to the application and information about the MJC.
