  • Family Law Section: AAML Advanced Family Law Seminar

    Apr 22, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (ET)
Traditionally, on the first Thursday of May of every year, the Michigan Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers conducts its annual seminar focused on advanced family law topics and concerns. As chair of the seminar committee, I assure you that we devote considerable time, effort, and thought in developing a theme for our annual event, generating topics, and in writing the seminar materials. As you know, with the COVID-19 crisis, we could not proceed with the scheduled seminar in May 2020, and obtained a new date in September. Given the circumstances, and potential for increased spread of the virus in the fall, we decided not to proceed with the seminar on September 18, 2020. After considering alternative available dates, and breaking from tradition slightly, we will conduct the seminar on Thursday, April 22, 2021 . The seminar in 2020 would have been our 26th annual seminar, and we are very disappointed that we are not proceeding as scheduled. Please be assured, however, that we will be ready for our presentation in April 2021, and hope you will join us at that time. If you paid for the registration, a check will be sent to the person or firm remitting the check within 14 days. If you wish to keep your registration fee on deposit for the April 2021 seminar, and retain your place in the queue, please send an email to within seven days. Please let me know if you have any questions. Jennie B. Bryan Seminar Committee Chair #ConferenceorSeminar #EventInfo
