Mission
The International Law Section strives to promote the highest quality of practice and professionalism in international law in Michigan. Toward that end, the Section seeks (i) to provide its members with interesting and educational programs on practice-relevant international law issues; (ii) to build a diverse and engaging membership with regular opportunities for social networking and mentoring; and (iii) to promote the practice and awareness of international law issues among the broader Michigan legal, business and legislative communities.
Meetings
The Section holds quarterly Council meetings and programs in January, March, May and November and its Annual Meeting in September of each year. All members of the Section are invited and encouraged to attend. For information on upcoming meetings and programs, please click on the “Section Events” link on our website. If you have suggestions for programs or activities that you think should be considered, please do not hesitate to contact one of the Section’s officers or any Council member. We welcome all suggestions.
Communications
The primary means by which the Section’s officers communicate and distribute notices of meetings and programs is through the Section’s email listserv. If you have not received email notices of the Section’s recent meetings and programs, please click on the “Listserv” link on our website or contact the State Bar of Michigan to sign up for the listserv.
