National Trial Advocacy Competition

Thank you to all teams, judges, and volunteers who made the 23rd Annual National Trial Advocacy Competition a success. 

The 24th Annual National Trial Advocacy Competition will be held October 24-26th, 2025, at the Coleman A. Young Municipal Center, in Detroit. Interested Teams can begin applying on February 1, 2025. Applications will be accepted until April 11, 2025, after which selected teams will be notified. Applications must be e-mailed to ntacsbmyls@gmail.com and bear the subject line “2025 NTAC Application.” Please include in your application email the following information:

  • Law school name, address, and phone number

  • Faculty/primary contact for this competition and phone number

  • Primary e-mail address for communication (acceptance will be e-mailed to this address only!)

  • Brief description of previous participation in regional and national competitions

  • Previous attendance at NTAC and semifinal/final finishes
