Annual Meeting

There is no charge to attend the Annual Meeting which will be held during lunch at the Business Law Institute at the Amway Grand Plaza in Grand Rapids. In addition to the election of Council members and officers will be the presentation of the Shulman Award.

12:10 p.m.—Presentation
of the Stephen H. Schulman Outstanding Business Lawyer Award. The
Section has created the Stephen H. Schulman Outstanding Business Lawyer
Award, which is presented annually. The award honors Michigan business
lawyers who consistently exemplify the characteristics the Business Law
Section seeks to foster and facilitate. Those characteristics include
possessing the highest level of professionalism, the highest quality of
practice, and an unwavering dedication to service and commitment, as
well as promoting ethical conduct and collegiality within the practice
of law. The Section is honored to recognize this year’s recipient,
Laurence S. Schultz of Driggers Schultz & Herbst PC.
