Registration is now open (here) for the 2016 Joint Environmental Fall Conference, a collaboration between the Environmental Law Section and the East Michigan and West Michigan Chapters of the Air & Waste Management Association. The conference will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2016, at Lansing Community College, West Campus. The new MDEQ Director Ms. Heidi Grether will speak, along with the MDEQ Division Chiefs. This year, the waste sessions will focus on the practicalities, opportunities and risks associated with recycling programs at industrial and commercial facilities. Mr. Grant Trigger will provide an update of the RACER Trust five years into this innovative program.
