This meeting continues a series of conversation bringing together business, government, and other thought leaders to share perspectives and inform a property tax reform proposal. The end goal of these discussions is to have a completed property tax reform proposal to provide for transitioning offices come election season.
Our initial session provided an overview of Michigan’s property tax structure and a comparison of the structures in neighboring states to set the stage for continued discussion of potential reform options for policy makers. Copies of the materials from that session are attached here.
