The U.S. Supreme Court in January heard oral arguments in Thole v U.S. Bank, N.A., and the panel’s forthcoming opinion on the case later this year will conclude its most recent foray into ERISA. Join the SBM Taxation Section’s Employee Benefits Committee for a discussion on past and current Supreme Court ERISA decisions. Leading the conversation are professors Dana Muir, David Pratt, and Andrew Stumpff, who have drafted and submitted several amicus briefs to the Supreme Court on ERISA matters. The event starts at 5:30 p.m. with networking, small bites, and an open bar. The panel discussion begins at 6 p.m.
