Mr. Treene oversees the Civil Rights Division's religious discrimination and religious liberty efforts, including laws protecting religious rights in education, employment, housing, the construction of places of worship, the rights of institutionalized persons, and the prosecution of religious hate crimes and attacks on places of worship.
