Michigan Supreme Court Justice Kurtis T. Wilder, will make opening remarks at our Annual Program. Dr. Carl Schmidt and Wayne County APA Lora Weingarden will address child abusive head trauma, recent case law on the subject, consulting and calling expert witnesses, and fees and funding for such experts. Questions and answers will follow the presentation.

The Criminal Law Section is also invited to the Family Law Section and SBM Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Committee's The Impact of Immigration Law & Practices in State Courts presentation on Thursday, September 27, from 9:00 a.m.–noon.
