The Appellate Practice Section invites you to its Annual Program and Business Meeting on September 24, 2020. This year the program and business meeting will be remote via Zoom. The business meeting is limited to Section members, but the morning and afternoon events are open to anyone interested in attending. We do ask that if you are not a Section member, you consider joining—a minimal fee for great value!
The program will include a morning training on the Supreme Court’s e-briefing pilot program and an afternoon panel with Michigan Supreme Court justices and Court of Appeals judges and staff, including Chief Justice Bridget McCormack, Justice Elizabeth Clement, Justice Richard Bernstein, Justice Megan Cavanagh, Chief Judge Christopher Murray, Judge Jane Beckering, Judge Brock Swartzle, and Chief Clerk Jerome Zimmer.
