The ADR Section of the State Bar of Michigan's Annual Conference will be in person on Friday, Sept. 19, 2025, as a one-day conference, at the Saint John's Resort in Plymouth. This year's Annual Conference will include meals, the Section's Annual Meeting, our Annual Awards Dinner, and ample opportunities to network with ADR practitioners and the judiciary. The Conference will include advanced mediation training featuring Michigan practitioners and experts.

This year, the Section is presenting for the first time, a virtual separate Family Mediation Program on Tuesday, Aug. 26, 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., as part of its annual ADR Conference. Eligible for up to 4 hours of advanced mediation credits, the conference covers: Pre-Mediation meetings in divorce, mediating business ownership issues in divorce, joint petitions for divorce and mediation and divorce mediation in Orthodox Judaism. Following the four presentations, faculty and participants will have an opportunity for conversation and networking.
