The ADR Section of the State Bar of Michigan is excited to present Meeting People, Meeting Needs—Virtual ADR Conference, Annual Meeting, and Section Awards. The COVID-19 pandemic has caused all of us to be flexible and learn new social media skills. ADR practitioners are among the leaders in adapting to the virtual world. Our program recognizes the need to continue to offer advanced skills building, updates on the law, and also to address some important issues that intersect diversity and neutrality for providers. We will also be honoring our ADR Section award winners during the conference. Our program offerings will challenge you and improve your skills. As in the past, up to 13 advanced mediation training credits will be offered. Because the Annual Meeting and Conference are virtual, you will be able to attend each program, rather than having to choose a track. We invite you to review the schedule, note the experienced and talented presenters, and register for the ADR Conference, Annual Meeting, and Section Awards. There is NO CHARGE for ADR Section members. The Section Council chose to offer this year’s ADR Conference and Annual Meeting at no cost as a benefit to its members, recognizing that while there is a cost to produce, virtually, the ADR Conference, Annual Meeting, and Section Awards, there is also a savings in not being able to have a live conference in a facility with the attendant costs. Please join the exceptional presenters, attend the Annual Meeting, and help us honor the ADR Section award winners.
