Solo & Small Firm Section: Mutual Mentorship Program

When:  Apr 27, 2017 from 06:00 PM to 08:00 PM (ET)

The Solo & Small Firm Section of the State Bar of Michigan is inviting all lawyers from all section to a free event for the Southeast Michigan area kickoff of the Mutual Mentorship Program.

Mutual Mentorship is designed to increase your knowledge and make you more money for no out of pocket cost to you. Seating is limited, complimentary food and beverage will be provided.

The Mutual Mentorship Program event is also being held in conjunction with the Section's ongoing educational seminar programs, so join us for our seminar on Attorney Marketing as well.

Here is your chance to become a mentor and mentee at the same time. Improve your bottom line by what you learn, while teaching your counterpart how to help their bottom line. No longer is a mentorship program a one-way street to benefit only the mentee.

For Newer Lawyers

You will learn from mentors who can raise your spirits, give you a sounding board, and share hard-earned experiences, so you can avoid the mistakes made by them when they were new. You can learn valuable tips and insights as to the application of substantive law so you are not always reinventing the wheel. You can learn how to set up a practice, learn how to administer and grow it without suffering the same headaches your mentor encountered, and in return you can benefit them with your unique insight on how to apply technology to law and administration, or your own specific area of practice.

For Older Lawyers

You can gain insight from the many ways technology can help market you and your firm more effectively. You will learn how to use multiple forms of new technology to be more efficient so that you will have more time to do the things you want to do. You can learn a new practice area too. The injection of enthusiasm that a new and improved way of seeing and doing things will bring into your practice will be a win-win situation for you. You get to feel good helping others, and at the same time you are helping yourself.

Join us for the Southeast Michigan Area Kickoff Event!

Check your calendar right now. Make a reservation. We will have staff on hand to gather information about your practice, where you need help, and where you can give help. You will be glad you did.
