LELS: Diversity Discussion Series—Boosting Diversity & Inclusion in the Legal Profession

When:  Mar 27, 2019 from 12:00 PM to 01:30 PM (ET)

Cost: $10

As the legal profession continues to strive for increased representation of women and minorities, the Diversity Lab, a national incubator, has developed innovative ideas and solutions that are actually are helping to boost diversity and inclusion in the law. Come learn about “Hackathons” that are hosted by Diversity Lab which help to generate ideas and initiatives, such as the Mansfield Rule, OnTrack for Partnership and Leadership, and the OnRamp/OffRamp program. These initiatives are currently being piloted by over 50 law firms and in-house legal departments across the country. By tracking and measuring the success of these types of programs, Diversity Lab is able to share data and information with others in the profession and provide concrete steps that can be taken to truly move the needle with respect to diversity and inclusion.

Our featured presenter is Lisa Kirby, Diversity Lab’s Chief Intelligence & Knowledge Sharing Officer. Lisa oversees the implementation and continued expansion of the Mansfield Rule within the profession.
