Labor Law Section: Mid-Winter Meeting

Cost for Evening Reception and Dinner: $95 for section members, $75 for first-time attendees & government employees

The annual Mid-Winter Meeting of the Section will be held on Friday, January 22, 2016, at the Detroit Athletic Club.

Registration will begin 1:00 p.m. with the educational program starting promptly at 1:30 p.m.

The educational program will include labor and employment law updates and a panel discussion entitled Who is the Employer and Who is an Employee? Recent Legal Developments Defining the Workplace in the Gig Economy.

The NLRB Practice and Procedure meeting will also take place at the DAC at 2:30-3:30 p.m.

A cocktail reception, dinner, and afterglow will follow.

The Distinguished Service Award will also be presented to Kathleen L. Bogas, Bogas & Koncius, PC, and John R. Runyan Jr., Sachs Waldman, PC. Following the award presentation, Rick Pluta, reporter and producer for Michigan Public Radio Network, will provide his insights on Michigan politics.

Please note that the DAC does not permit t-shirts or denim to be worn in its facility at any time.
