The Natural Resources, Energy and Sustainability Committee of the Environmental Law Section is pleased to invite you to participate in this scheduled webinar.

In 1973, Congress passed the Endangered Species Act to protect the imperiled animals and plants from extinction. This Webinar will provide participants with a general overview of the Endangered Species Act, and an understanding of the scope of regulatory requirements and terminology.

Whether you have or have not represented clients in matters involving the presence of an endangered species, an understanding of the Act is necessary. Responding to and managing an endangered species disputes can be complex, difficult and costly. This webinar will provide you information and tools to help you asses the risk for the client and develop a plan for responding to these conditions.

We are fortunate to have two attorneys that are very familiar with the Act to present:

• Paul F. Bohn of Fausone Bohn LLP, who has provided legal counsel to real estate developers, local units of government and opposition groups to address the presence of potential endangered species.

• Tony A. Sullins is a solicitor with the Department of Interior and is involved with the federal implementation of the Endangered Species Act. He has provided legal counsel within the DOI and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service on scope and limitations of the Act.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
