Michigan State University College of Law is pleased to invite you and your colleagues to its Midwest Securities Law Institute to be held on Friday, October 16, 2015 at Michigan State University College of Law. We are excited to have prominent regulators and experienced securities practitioners speaking again this year. We have five representatives from the SEC: the Legal Branch Chief of the Division of Corporation Finance, experienced securities litigators from the SEC's Chicago and Los Angeles Regional Offices, the Assistant Director of the Office of Chief Counsel of the SEC's Office of Compliance Examinations and Investigations and the Senior Special Counsel from the Office of International Affairs. We also are pleased to have a representative from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and several representatives from the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs who will be speaking about new rules under the Michigan Uniform Securities Act.
