American Indian: Marijuana Legalization and Governmental Relations & Annual Meeting

Patrick Miles, Jr., US attorney for the Western District under the Obama administration, and Wenona Singel, deputy legal counsel for Governor Whitmer, will speak about the effect that passage of the Michigan Regulation and Taxation of Marijuana Act has had on Michigan tribes and intergovernmental relations.  If you remember Conflict of Laws class from law school with a shudder, this is a fascinating study in real life.
